Case 2007-04-28.

Precursor signs of density waves.

Just before a wave caused by a vessel arrives, the water may be calm and flat.

Precursor signs of density waves.

Per In contrast, in the case of density waves, the affected area, the minute before their appearance, is subject to various precursor processes, the most visible of which may be a swelling of the area or a churning of the water.

Density waves in the swelling phase.

"Attunement" operation.

Before the density waves appear, even before the swelling, other precursor signs can be seen, hints of movement, vapors.

It cannot be ruled out that the density waves represent only the final stage of a successful "attunement" process.

This operation is more or less possible depending on the duration of the interaction episode at a given critical value.

In this case, you can see the same recording in a long version (50"), a short version (39"), and a fast-forward version.

In the long version, you can see what happens just before the phenomenon.

Fast forward version L070428ut0749x9

For the first 10 seconds, the water remains flat; then, little by little, unusual movements and even vapors become visible; then a swelling, followed by the formation of a kind of wave made of bumps; finally, the bumps organize themselves into a grid of squares.
